There has been a guy hanging out in town for 3 hours running up to everyone and making a vague justification to start a fight. Originally he demanded I pay him 500 dollars, I told him I only have 70, so he demanded 70. I told him I saw a rich fella with nice guns by the butcher, so he ran off to harass him instead.

Next time I rode in, he was fist fighting someone in the street.

Next time I rode in, he ran after me but just stood there watching as I spoke to another player in the bank and had a nice roleplay segment.

The time after that he followed me out of the hotel and told me to leave because it's "his town."

I later saw him pull someone off his horse, get immediately gunned down, say IN VOICE CHAT "you killed me over a misclick? lol". I roleplayed spitting on his corpse and he called me autistic.

Finally, he saw me, confronted me for spitting on him earlier (he was technically dead when that happened so he's metagaming being able to remember that) and chased me out of town.



Awful character, it's only half a step above RDMing people.

I've done a lot of RP stuff before on games and I know they inherently form cliques in the servers, so thats another reason why I find it difficult to enter into random RP, I'm a nobody no-name, with a heart of cold, a one man gunshow hunting deer, elf, does, bucks and stags and selling them to the butcher for 2 dollars a pop. Honestly a little bit down today, I had plans to hang out with a friend but as per fucking usual, stuff comes up, and they're gonna be a little late, then 30 minutes late, then 30 minutes later they message me to say they're finally leaving and should be back home in 30 minutes more.

Eventually got sick of the excuses, cancelled on them, and started streaming instead.

Years of this, of inconsistency. If we say we're gonna hang out at 6pm, you best believe I'm ready by about 4:30, and I'm literally just waiting.

Too many days of my life have been dominated by 'plans' with a friend that is consistently very late. Maybe they're just a bad friend. But I've known them for nearly half my life, so it kinda sucks, and I keep just letting them show up late and always say, yeah it's fine.

As in instead of making sure I'm available (both mentally and physically and on time) I would be semi-available just like they are semi-reliable.
Or you straight up tell them that it's bothering you, that's an option too, depends on what kind of friendship this is.

Tbh it's not all that and a bag of chips, it's less expensive than any other accommodation in the city but it's also pretty meh, since you pretty much have to share rooms with random people unless you already know someone and ask for a placement with them beforehand.

You can actually use any software that tracks your window usage, I use livesplit mostly because I know I will tab into the code editor and do absolutely fuckall so instead of doing that I just turn it on only if I can say I'm focused at it, not whatever else I could be thinking about. I still obviously count the time I spend thinking about it and not only the time I'm typing but I definitely do not count the time when I'm just tabbed in and actually doing something else entirely.
Sometimes I even track the time I spend looking through the documentation too, I just absolutely make sure to pause it whenever I tab out into anything that is not getting me closer towards the goal (whatever you will set, for me it's obviously finishing the rewrite of this piece of crap (it's actually going pretty well))

Was dragged into a trivia night that lasted till 1am by some guys that recognized me while I was incelwalking, so I showed up there even though I was stinking from my exercise.
Everything was awful, the lights were too bright and the audio too high so my head was spinning, one of my five teammates was the perfect definition of brainrot, proudly claiming multiple times that he was diagnosed autistic, constantly grunting and slamming the table, non-stop talking about big chungus (I think it was just some obese cat he had instead of the literal maymay), making deez nuts jokes (it's even more awkward since we're not from an english-speaking country) or yapping about his myanimelist profile. Oh he also loudly yelled AMERICA FUCK YEAH whenever the trivia answer was somewhat related to the US, which happened at least twenty times. I don't understand how people like these are tolerated.
So yeah, I just sat there for four hours looking lugubrious, pitched in in four or five questions, only two being correct (the fat retard negged me for a full minute when I said that the band that played Mr. Brightside was british when they're actually from Las Vegas).
At the end we still won out of fifteen teams and we were given a tray with a bunch of food that didn't match each other, like oranges with pickles or pineapple with chocolate mousse. I ate a single big slice of soft cheese and then fled the scene to write this blogpost.
