CC here is my current research on dust mite allergy problems and possible solutions after watching an hour or so of videos about the topic
THINGS TO IMPROVE ALLERGY CONDITIONS
(this is one of the most mentioned and most important) get mattress and pillow allergy covers (zips around the mattress and pillow, they stay on all the time they don't come off)
everything else on the bed needs to be washed at least once a week in hot water (60 Celsius or higher)
no humidifiers, air purifiers are fine, but the air should not be very humid, 50% or less from what I read is good
wear a mask or put something in nose while cleaning or dealing with concentrated dust
clean room of dust regularly
if there are any objects that collect dust, get rid of them or put them somewhere outside of your sleeping vicinity
do not sleep on stomach or with your face buried in the pillow, but rather somewhat elevated head, the higher the better. i have tried sleeping almost in a 90 degree angle and i woke up with my nose clearer than usual. so it actually does do some good
oil pulling
DIET
some claim that changing diet can either significantly increase allergy symptoms or even entirely cure it
foods that could cause issues are grains, legumes, dairy, processed foods in general, sugar, gluten (bread). so try to cut them out individually and see if it makes a positive change
try keto diet (i looked up most of the "keto is actually bad for you" videos and most of them were doctors of a certain origin which makes me think it might actually be really good. i will try it out and see if i can cure my allergies with it
IMMEDIATE solutions
for immediate relief, saline nasal spray and nose clearing techniques like pushing air through one nostril while holding the other closed with finger like the one from the chinese guy that i linked before
neti pot with saline solution
steam inhalation with essential oils
nasal strips might work but it didn't do much for me
