Yeah I'll be the judge of that not you you're biased

No, they developed a batch of new 4cyls (1.5L, 1.5T, 2.0T) with a couple differences compared to traditional ICEs. They should be compatible with multiple different fuels too. Go look it up, you'll understand more than I could

The articles I found mention that the new engines will have a shorter stroke than what is typical, but not much more technical stuff than that. That's ok though. Nice to hear that they are still developing ICEs. Have you read about Mazda's recent development of the roatary and supercharged 2 stroke? Pretty neat imo.

Speaking of short stroke engines the 5 liter in my mystang is a short stroke design; 4" bore and 3" stroke, literally an f1 engine

A while ago I searched for who killed the most people. There is a whole wikipedia with a list and rankings etc. It was some Colombian guy who raped and murdered young boys. The wikipedia article on him was super interesting to read

Yup they're short and round. I was taught in school that hot weather favored people that have long thin bodies because it dissipates heat better, so why are these people built like Eskimos?

There has to be a smarter way to filter out bots. I get that it's a game of cat and mouse where the bot makers always try to appear human like and so on. But they always have the same patterns. If I can immediately detect or differentiate a bot user from a normal user, their detection system should be able to work it out too. If a human user gets banned before a bot user, then they are doing something wrong.
I know that this is all a plot to bring about the world ID and the human verification and so on by forcing a decision by flooding everything with bots, but still. Getting banned just randomly before I even did anything on the site is just dumb. I signed up, created an account, verified by email, logged in and was banned after clicking on the home icon
I know that it's ultimately a battle they cannot win, because human behaviour can always be simulated. I imagine they don't care that much because they want:
1) users to buy the premium twitter thing to identify yourself as human to make money
2) use your phone number to associate with your account so they can track you
3) ultimately force people to get the world ID for logging in

I agree. I have an old bolt action that had a cutout for stripper clips, but the cutout is just a rectangular cut, and it was slightly too narrow for the clips that I would use (1903 springfield ones) and because of the cut there isn't enough material there to cut out a proper clip guide.
Damned PoS. Eventually I will weld something in there so clips fit well.

UT was the only game of his that was remotely interesting to me, and I never played much of it. The only entry in the franchise that I played for more than one/two matches was UT4. A lot of people don't even know that was a thing, and I don't think CliffyB was involved at all. Most of his games are just not interesting to me

I can't think of any game industry celebs that I follow or ever followed in the past (in the sense that I keep up with their projects and buy their finished games). I don't think vidya is any different from movies or books in that striking gold once means nothing and chances are it won't happen again. Most big names have been one hit wonders, it's just that those hits were so big that they carried their careers easily. Some have had 2 great ideas and a select few have had more than that, but most of them are just the Fable guy, the Wing Commander guy, the CS guy, the Ultima Online guy, etc. It's probably a better idea to just credit them for what they achieved rather than demand more from them

Wind resistance builds up exponentially, and it's by far the biggest obstacle to going fast. Tires and bearings and stuff have rolling resistance and drag and whatever, but it's nothign compared to having air in the way.

True. But more and more people are starting to not care whether their landlord or the ceo of whatever evil corporation is a pale jew or actually european. It's becoming a problem for the juden, that's why they're letting us goys in the US be a little racist against muslim immigrants again.

You can test this if you have a straight, flat road. Accelerate to whatever speed and then shift to neutral and see how long it takes for the vehicle to lose 10kph, then test that at a few different speeds. To change rolling resistance you can deflate your tires.
If you knew the weight of the van you could probably calculate how much energy is removed from the van as it is slowed down by the wind from speed A to the lower speed B.

You can "fry" with any medium that is hot enough and envelopes the food without reacting.
I'm very interested in frying with tiny pebbles lately, perhaps silica or glass pebbles. As a more practical version of sand frying.
 >>/55468/
Interesting. You can pump air through the bucket of pebble media to make it behave more like a liquid. They do that with the dip tanks for powder coating.

It goes to show that you don't need to be sleeping on the sidewalk in the rain or shooting up hard drugs in order to feel absolutely miserable. It's all just neurology and psychology, the circumstances only matter in so far as those human factors allow them to matter. I feel like I've gained some control over my emotions in the last few months (through Suzanne's teachings, which I still mostly only understand on an intellectual level) but things still very much "arise" as she calls it. And sometimes I just feel like absolute shit. Yeah I don't need to work that's true but it's also true that I can barely afford food and bills, both of my parents need my help, I have absolutely nobody to help me or even just to talk to (other than you guys), I'm fairly autistic and live in a constant state of stress and anxiety in normie society, all in all I'd say my life is pretty awful. But it's not really. It's just what it is. I try to see that, I do. Sometimes I can accept it but most of the time I can't

The only thing that matters is (in my opinion) that you just keep trying to work on your issues. If you keep working on them, you will eventually find a way to resolve them

I've been doing that ever since I can remember. That particular hamster wheel is over. I have nothing left to give. No offerings left for the gods of normalcy and expectations. I spent my whole life seeing doctors and asking them to please fix poor broken failed me, forcing myself through whatever arbitrary efforts people asked of me, taking pills so I could be more like them, I even tried to get a job, multiple times, even though I knew damn well I couldn't keep those jobs if I got them. I was so on board with other people's delusional views of me that I was acting like a fucking idiot. I realize that now but that by itself doesn't get me any closer to finding peace

Yeah, she's argentine, but she has a regional accent I can't pinpoint. She's very pretty (of course she is otherwise the yt algorithm wouldn't give a shit about her channel) but also kinda extreme like I was saying. Maybe she developed a sense of self righteous supremacy, maybe what's actually a healthy normal ego seems weird and dangerous on autistic people. There's something to be said for people with convictions though, especially women. It's against their biological programming to swim against the current like that, they're supposed to adapt and submit

I agree that's interesting when it happens.

A cool word for that is "avolition"

Yeah that was me. her username is "indiana". I'm glad she bought a unique insta handle instead of breast implants. I wish someone told her she's not supposed to wear underwear with a dress like that.

Saw the latest gundam seed movie, I hate gundam seed but I can brag that I saw every single gundam if I watch them.
Even Seed despite being the worst gundam by a long shot is still vaguely interesting in the philosophy/esoteric themes, wonky and poorly written as they are.

The point of Seed Freedom relates very well to a question I have been pondering, the fundamental truth wokeness/post(post)-modernism derive from despite misunderstanding it.

Put simply, it is the fact humans still want the impossible, want to have their cake and eat it too, no matter how evolved and up in the rationality ranks they are.
Humans also want to "solve problems", optimize and reach "perfection" within a system. But in a combat between those two wants, the want for the impossible long outlasts the want for real goals.

So ultimately we must seek the impossible, but by means of reason.

I'm liking this guy's autism, didn't Doc post him here before?
Anyway I have been looking for a non sudsy, no residue soap that I can use to mop my floors; I found a "rinse free" car wash soap but after watching this video I will try some dishwasher detergent.

there's like half a dozen names for what's more or less the same thing but names don't matter much do they. it'd be cool if the DSM could actually cure anything on it but it's merely descriptive

seriously. that's like 2010s levels of prudishness

lol that LED headlights one. not sure about the MGS comparison, is the woman on the left supposed to look attractive? the new one definitely looks a little manlier but I want to see her in movement before I form an opinion. not that I particularly care about MGS

I was thinking the other day that it must have taken a lot of goodwill to get us to this point where you can leech off of the state to survive in almost any non-third world nation. Hell you can do it in some shitholes too if you get lucky and there's enough foreign aid. Do you think that goodwill came from a specific, higher caste or do you think civilization was a species wide effort? It sure seems like a lot of people these days only behave due to organized law enforcement (certainly describes me), it's interesting to think about ooga booga times when that wasn't a thing. What convinced us that this was better? Why did we stop acting like every other species on the planet? I could look it up and find out what the scientific consensus is but if you ask me it was because aliens with huge heads brainwashed our ancestors into it

Maybe I have trouble understanding the species's social nature (which is probably the main factor that led to the development of civilization) because I'm closer to those hypothetical aliens than I am to people. I don't want to work together or cooperate with anyone except maybe other autismos. Just not the Sonic the Hedgehog or reddit commie types please

> it's interesting to think about ooga booga times when that wasn't a thing
I think it was always kind of a "thing". Like an evolution of the idea of "apes together are strong". If three cro-magnon chads worked together they could kill individual competitors and have their way, and then it became 10 cavemen working together, then 100. Like a tribal arms race.
As for being able to leech of the state. I think women having influence in society lead to that kind of thing, at least in part. Foids love to complain about poor people and criminals, they're much more motivated to make a scene when someone like George Floyd gets killed, then when say some promising student gets killed by a George Floyd. It's an interesting question and this is just my retarded guess.

I thought of you when I saw the LED one.
There's no specific joke with the MGS one, other than whatever tranny squad remade the graphics made Boss look uglier.

That is how it is portrayed in the anime. But more so than the male/female difference, it is about the immaterial x material self.

 >>/55522/
While there is an organized caste pushing for it, they only prevail because the majority of the able individuals align with it. WW2 for instance.

We know the truth about race, about genetics, about genders, etc... but most of us just don't feel like living in a world driven by those truths and want to make our own reality instead, even if that comes at a much higher cost.

The issue is that if it is possible to surpass nature with technology, then reality is not an argument for one way over the other.
But that only means we have to surpass them in the realm of the impossible, rather than holding back.
Ultimately, it is a re-run of the cycle of religious thinking. But played out materially.

And of course, this is only insofar as the events within the "collective" of humans, you should by no means follow this as your personal development logic, you don't need any of this.
